Our mission

MetPow was born out of a shared passion for camping and adventure by founders, Dan Gould and Ed Jones.

As avid campers, Dan and Ed experienced firsthand the challenges faced by campsite owners and guests alike, especially regarding energy usage. They noticed that traditional electric metering systems were often unreliable, inconvenient, and inefficient.

Determined to find a solution, they combined their technical expertise and love for the outdoors to create MetPow.
